Processions Banner Making Workshop with artist Jasleen Kaur

Tuesday 29 & 30 May 2018
11.30am-4.00pm

On Sunday 10 June thousands of women and girls from across the UK will walk together in public processions to form a living portrait of women in the 21st century and a visual expression of equality, strength and cultural representation. In the lead up to this, 100 artists across the UK are working with women, those who identify as women and non-binary, to create banners that will form a striking visual in the processions.

Join us on the 29th, 30th May and the 1st of June to create banners with artist Jasleen Kaur at Touchstones Rochdale. In these workshops you will work together using image and text to produce banners that represent what it means to be a woman today. Learn new skills, meet people and share your experiences and become part of this project. All participants will also be invited to travel to London on the 10th of June to take part in a procession.
